EDMONTON 50+ SENIORS SLO-PITCH ASSOCIATION *** Seniors In Motion
 About Us

The Edmonton Senior Slo-Pitch Association was created in 1983 to give seniors (men and women) from Edmonton and surrounding communities, a venue to play slo-pitch against their peers. ***Divisions *** Hopefully, all players end up in the division for which they are best suited.

Brawner division is for players of any skill level who wish to play a more relaxed level of ball. Brawner division plays with 11 fielders.

Hirsch division is for players who have the desire and ability to play a more demanding level of ball.

Hirsch and Brawner players are chosen by way of a draft of all persons wishing to participate. Hirsch Division fills their rosters first; the Brawner Division managers will then draft remaining members. Some players in these divisions are recruited for tournaments by Cuthbertson teams.

Cuthbertson division players are recruited prior to the draft by team managers. This “AA” Division enters the league as a full team; most players compete for Provincial and National titles and numerous tournaments during the year. Teams are formed on their own and entered into the league as a full team. The Cuthbertson - "AA" teams will play at least two (2) games per week and may have double headers.

The Cuthbertson Division teams may allow players who are 45 years and older. For more information about this division, contact “AA” Division coordinator John Cabaj at jpcabaj@yahoo.com .

For the more competitive players we also have teams of 50+, 55+, 60+, 65+ and 70+ who compete at various tournaments, Alberta Senior Games, SPN Provincial & National events, and Senior World Series events. The league schedule starts during the first week of May and ends during the first week in September. The games are played at Airways Park adjacent to Kingsway Ave. (113 St. and 113 Ave.) South of the City Center Airport.
