Division 1 Selectors Required for 2025 Season ***** ALSO still looking for Team Coaches

Hello There,

At the start of each season, the team members in the ESSPA Drafted Division 1 are picked by Selectors that are the initial members of that team. The selector is allowed to have an assistant that will also be part of that team.

The selectors positions that ran teams that finished in the bottom two spots in regular season are open for renewal for the next season. The other selectors automatically have the option of being a selector for the new season. These returning selectors will then vote for individuals to be the selectors for the remaining teams.

There is a possibility that the ESSPA Drafted Division 1 will need some selectors for the coming season. Individuals who apply need to have familiarity with the players available for selection by the division. Once the team is formed, the selector becomes the team manager and may also need to coach the team or arrange for the team to select someone as a coach.

If you are interested in being a selector for the upcoming season, please submit your name to info@esspa.ca or div1@esspa.ca prior to March 21, 2026. The successful candidate(s) will be notified shortly after this date and can start attending the divisional meetings to prepare for the upcoming season.
